Fine-Tune Your Nervous System

Gentle movement practices that help your nervous system regulate more effectively — supporting better sleep, greater calm, resilience, and everyday performance.

The Method

Body Fine-Tuning is a movement-based learning method for improving the functional harmony and capacity of the nervous system.

Grounded in somatic neuroscience and decades of practical experience, the method teaches gentle, purposeful movement exercises that are designed to provide targeted sensory experiences and develop skills that support regulation, resilience, recovery, and performance.

Fine-Tune Your Nervous System

Sleep better. Feel calmer. Build greater resilience. Perform at your best.

It all begins with a well-regulated nervous system.

The problem is that most of us have never been taught the skills that support nervous system regulation.

Surprisingly, the solution may be closer than you think. Through practicing gentle, targeted somatic movements, we can learn, develop, and master those skills.

Welcome to Body Fine-Tuning — where movement becomes a tool for nervous system learning and regulation, helping you build a strong foundation for excellence in whatever you aspire to do.

Why Your Nervous System Matters

Every day, each of us encounters countless micro-experiences — information that continually shapes how our nervous system functions. What happens at work, how we move, how we breathe, what we eat, how we sleep, and the environments we spend time in all contribute to this ongoing process. Together, these experiences shape how easily our nervous systems shift between activation and recovery.

As it is, life can be very challenging, and over time, our nervous systems can lose their functional flexibility and resilience — sometimes becoming locked into patterns that no longer serve us well. Sleep can suffer, stress becomes harder to manage, and performance can decline.

The good news is that your nervous system remains capable of learning and adapting throughout life. With the right somatic movement practices, you can develop greater regulatory capacity and master skills that support better recovery and performance.

The Body Fine-Tuning Method

Give Your Nervous System New Experiences

The human nervous system learns through experience, and movement is one of the most direct ways to provide new sensory information. This is where somatic movement education comes in. Grounded in somatic neuroscience and decades of practical experience, Body Fine-Tuning uses gentle, targeted movements to help you develop greater sensory awareness and learn skills that support nervous system regulation, adaptation, and resilience.

From Regulation to Results

  • Better Sleep — Fall asleep more easily and support deeper, more restorative sleep.

  • Greater Resilience — Develop greater capacity to stay regulated, recover, and respond effectively to life's demands.

  • Better Performance — Support focus, creativity, learning, and sustainable energy so you can perform at your best.

Meet Oliver

Somatic Neuroscience Educator

My work began with my experience as a solo violinist, where I discovered firsthand how movement and sensory awareness can profoundly influence learning and performance.

For more than three decades, I have explored how movement, sensory awareness, and learning can change the way we function — bringing together somatic movement education, neuroscience, and practical experience to develop Body Fine-Tuning.

Today, I teach these principles through books, courses, workshops, speaking, coaching, and my newsletter Leveling Up Sleep.
